Angelfish and Black Molly: can they live together?

Verdict:not recommended

  • Behaviour: with caution
  • Water: ranges do not overlap

Why

The water hardness does not overlap: angelfish need 5–10 dGH, mollies 15–30 dGH. There is no water that suits both fish, so keeping them together in one tank is not recommended.

This is a general estimate: fish of the same species differ in character. Tank volume is given for each species separately — two species together need at least the larger of the two, and usually more.
