Appearance
Under moderate light, elongated light-green leaves sit on a reddish stem, the leaf margin is noticeably toothed and the leaf tip looks almost truncated. Under intense light the leaves take on reddish tones, and shoots with oval-round, smooth-edged leaves may appear; this form is fairly stable and looks like a different cultivar. Above water the leaves are round and green with a red stem — as in the standard macrandra’s emergent form.
