A very fine-leaved, delicate form; underwater the plant looks like a terrestrial one. The leaves vary in shape: elongated-oval with a raised centre and upturned edges, or rounded-oval. It is sometimes stated to be a mutant of the 'Green' form: from time to time it puts out shoots resembling it, with larger leaves and noticeably faster growth; these are cut off right away to keep the typical look.
