Care and keeping

Appearance

Underwater the leaves are brown or reddish-brown. Plants sold under the 'Braun' label can differ somewhat between suppliers — there is no single cultivar behind this name. The name 'Grün' works on the same principle — green forms of the species are sold under it.

Keeping

As for the species: easy, growth medium, light from dim to strong, CO₂ 5–40 mg/l, temperature 22–26 °C.

Placement

Midground, foreground in a group.
